We welcome and thank everyone who is online, sharing in the worship.
Szeretettel köszöntünk! At the end of today's worship, we will have a special Memorial for our dear friend and community treasure, Mr. Sándor Szoboszlai. We also dedicate today's worship to him, for his decades of selfless work serving Hungarian Americans in the preservation of Hungarian culture and theater. May Sándor Bácsi's memory remain a blessing in the many lives that he touched with his joyful smile, generous spirit, and kind heart.

Today is the third Sunday in Advent. For Christians, Advent consists of the four Sundays before Christmas Day. It is the season of waiting and preparing for the light of the world, the birth of Christ. Each Sunday in Advent we light a candle. The first Sunday we lit a candle for the HOPE that is promised to us by the birth of Christ. The second Sunday we lit a candle for FAITH. Also called "Bethlehem’s Candle," as Micah had foretold that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, also the birthplace of King David. Today we light the third candle, for JOY, to remind us of the joy that the world experienced at the birth of Jesus.
Ma, Advent második vasárnapjan szépséges istentiszteletet tartunk. Advent a várakozás időszaka, a lelki felkészülés ideje karácsonyra, Jézus születésére és egyben Jézus újra eljövetelére. Öltöztessük ünneplőbe a szívünket!

The Resurrection of the Dead 12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
Revelations 21:3-7.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
